Amy J’s Why Behind the Show:
This show is deeply personal to me. I’ve been thinking about creating it since 2020, but life’s challenges and other responsibilities put it on hold for a while. There were moments when it felt easier to walk away, to not take on the financial risk and effort required to produce a full-scale show. But I know, in my heart, that abandoning this dream would never truly be easier. The world needs more human stories, live theater, dance, and especially comedy in the face of tragedy. If I can offer anything, it’s the joy of seeing something I’ve created that might resonate with others.

When I feel like I personally can’t make a big difference with all that goes on in the world, I know that making and sharing my art is something I can still offer. Art gives me hope and brings me joy. I hope this show will bring joy to someone, somewhere.
