Block Time
A continuing dance-theater exploration of performance and time by Seattle artists Amy J Lambert (Director/Choreographer), Taryn Collis (Theater/Playwriting), Sean Tomerlin (Dance/Concept).
Inspired by science as ritual/science as belief system and its possible cathartic abilities. Is the passion of science as inflammatory as the passion of religion? How could the understanding or acceptance of time as a flexible component affect storytelling and grief.
Theory of Block Time - the idea that all time, past, present, and future, exist in one large block. This holds that although we can only move through time in a linear fashion, it does not mean that time itself is linear.
