In an effort to create a stable infrastructure for our upcoming projects, AJnC Dance-Theater has become a member of Fractured Atlas, a non‐profit arts service organization. This is a huge step for AJnC, as we are now able to accept tax-deductible donations on both a single and recurring basis. Being a member of Fractured Atlas enables us to build a sound financial platform and sustainably move towards more ambitious projects. As a past supporter of our work, I hope you will consider being part of AJnC’s growing momentum.
AJnC Dance-Theater is currently fundraising for their newest production, Young Manic / I Wanted To Be on Broadway, which premieres February 16-25, 2018 at Velocity Dance Center’s Founder Theater. Similar to our last evening-length production, Believe Me Or Not at 12th Avenue Arts in 2015, we have ambitious goals for the quality of Young Manic. The production will run for six performances over two weekends, incorporate a handmade set integrated with the show’s light design, and feature a large cast of twelve professional dancers and performers. Based on the idea of wanting to grow up to be a Broadway star, Young Manic incorporates the “human capacity for simultaneous seriousness and play” that AJnC has become known for.
